 Kiswahili

The Swahili language spoken in Tanzania is of Bantu origin.
Through integration with Arab and Asiatic people it has borrowed words from other languages, buttwo_mums is in all essence a Bantu language.
The word Swahili means “coast” and was used in early times by Arab Traders who visited East Africa. The earliest recounting of Swahili has been by an unknown Alexandrian author, found in the Periplus of Erythrean Sea 2nd century A.D.
Swahili is the most widely spoken language of Eastern Africa. Today it inspires people alll over the world to enjoy it's rich diversities pecularities and influences. "Hakuna Matata"

Tanzanians are always highly appreciative of other people speaking their language. It is practical to know what people are saying when you are visiting this infinitely vibrant and colourful country - and much easier and more enjoyable to mix socially.
